“Girls can do science and technology, too!” Bui Huyen Trang from An-Duong High School
Many people still believe that science and technology is not a subject for girls. When I first found out about Samsung Innovation Campus from my teachers, I knew that this could be an opportunity to reverse such misbelief. I signed up immediately, excited to venture in and learn more about the IT field.
The first thing I learned from Samsung Innovation Campus was the basics of IT. Throughout the course, the level of the classes has advanced gradually, and I would have hands-on experiments testing different computer languages and software. All of the studying and training had nothing less but made me more down in this field.
In a few months, I have a national high school exam to take before my graduation, in which I was uncertain about what subject to specialize in at a university. Samsung Innovation Campus, however, helped me realize my passion for technology, and I am more than certain that I want to pursue computer science as my learning route.
I want to thank Samsung for providing such a memorable experience for the students of Vietnam, including myself, to not only learn the trending technologies but also discover and strengthen our IT abilities.
“Finding my talent and interest in the IT field.” Dinh Gia Huy from Hoa Sen University
Hi. I’m Dinh Gia Huy from Hoa Sen University. I came across Samsung Innovation Campus through an announcement from the faculty of my major, Information Technology. Although IT was what I studied, as a freshman, I did not have sufficient understanding or experience in the field. Samsung Innovation Campus seemed like a great opportunity to familiarize myself with the topic.
As anticipated, Samsung Innovation Campus and its courses were full of new knowledge for me. During the classes, I picked up new skills in hardware programming and IoT system design, which came in handy when learning more advanced techniques as the course progressed.
At the end of Samsung Innovation Campus, I had the opportunity to put the skills I learned into practice. It was challenging to incorporate different technologies in creating a new software of my own, but it boosted my confidence by presenting my idea in front of the class.
Being a part of Samsung Innovation Campus during my freshman year was one of the best decisions I have made. I want to thank the program and everyone involved for giving me the opportunity to not only learn, but find my talent and interest in the field sooner.
