Equipping Youth with Skills of the Future

Samsung Innovation Campus 2022

Samsung Innovation Campus launched in Lahore, Pakistan in 2021 with the aim to equip young students with knowledge in Artificial Intelligence to enhance their employment prospects and help them gain a practical education in technology.

The closing ceremony of the first successfully completed phase of Samsung Innovation Campus was held at Akhuwat College for Boys in April this year. Check out how youth in Pakistan learned future-proof skills.

Celebrating students’ success

Undergraduate students in Pakistan completed training in Artificial Intelligence in 240 hours over a period of six months focused on enhancing ideation, as well as soft skills such as project management and problem-solving skills. Samsung also sponsored 45 desktop systems to upgrade the computer lab at the college.

45 students graduated and received certificates presented by Mr. Roy Chang, MD of Samsung Pakistan, and Dr. Huma Mirza, Director of Akhuwat Education Services. The ceremony was also attended by several directors and professors, as well as the Senior School Principal of Akhuwat College, Mr. Phil Straw.

Contributing to a future of tech

The closing ceremony celebrated the successful completion of the first phase of fostering youth for a technologically driven future. The students are now equipped with a fluid understanding of AI projects, as well as practical experience in the design, implementation, and results communication process.

Samsung Innovation Campus will continue to help students become professionals who can cater to future challenges proficiently and contribute to building a better future for all.
