A smiling male college student

Hi. My name is Batuhan. I applied for Samsung Innovation Campus shortly after I graduated from Istanbul Technical University in 2019. Whilst I have always had an interest in the field of IT, I had to give up following my dream due to the heavy workload and my lack of motivation. However, after participating in Samsung Innovation Campus, it not only boosted my IT skills but also inspired me to pursue a career in the field.

Considering its scale and eminence in providing quality education, I was naturally drawn to Samsung Innovation Campus. When entering the program, my expectations were high, and I was not disappointed . My experience was far beyond what I had imagined. The training I received was extremely thorough, supported by various field experts. The mentors were helpful in not only teaching and giving guidance on projects but also in giving valuable advice on career decisions.

Before graduating , we had a chance to create an output of the training in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme. The assignment was to invent a solution that would benefit the world’s environment in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Creating the solution was a challenge but it was a special opportunity in that I could put what I had studied into practice - learning which tools and methods were most suitable to the task on-hand, allowing me to develop a broader perspective.

I can confidently say that the program has strengthened my skill set which made me stand out from other applicants when applying for a new job. Thanks to my experience at Samsung Innovation Campus, I am now working as a software developer at an international IT service company.

Samsung Innovation Campus is full of rewards. The hours of learning and hard work are all worth it in the end. So, if you have any interest in IoT, seek a comprehensive education, or wish to work in the field of IT, don’t hesitate. Your application will put you a step closer to your dream, and perhaps be the opportunity that changes your life. No matter the point you reach within the process, it is certain that an opportunity at Samsung Innovation Campus will inspire you.
