A Guide to Keep Pace with Language of the Future

Samsung Innovation Campus 2022

Samsung Innovation Campus is the ultimate destination for young Egyptian students who are interested in keeping pace with the fourth industrial revolution to enhance their skills. In partnership with Life Makers Foundation and under the supervision of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and in partnership with WE, Samsung implemented a new educational program at WE Joint School of Applied ICT. The class of 2021 witness 120 program graduates. Half of these graduates specialized in the field of coding and programming, and the other specialized in artificial intelligence. The students have become qualified young innovators to enter the workforce and able to harness future technologies.

When asked about the experience at Samsung Innovation Campus, the students’ satisfaction rate marked a whopping 92%, the highest satisfaction rate achieved by the program worldwide. The exceptional results reflect the high responsiveness of Egyptian students to learn the language of the future.

Passion for technology

Paulais a Samsung Innovation Campus graduate whose enthusiasm and devotion for technology has skyrocketed even more than when he started the program. After completing the course, Paula was selected to be the leader and instructor of Vega Zag, a computer science club at Faculty of Engineering in Zagazig University. He also won the global solver prize from NASA space apps.

As Samsung aims to provide future cadres not mere graduates, Paula was selected at the African leadership academy, a 2-years precollege diploma, which takes the best students from Africa to study in South Africa. Finally, he won a partial scholarship to study mechanical engineering major at the university of Nebraska-Lincoln at the United States of America, and perhaps in the near future, he would be one of the international innovators.

Cycle of good impact

Another exceptional success story was showcased through Marwan and Ali. The two graduates, who joined all the way from Upper Egypt, created “Cipher” based on the knowledge and experience they gained from Samsung innovation campus. Cipher is a student club at Sohag University established in 2019. Through the club, they were able to implement problem solving camp for a week. During the camp, they implemented a specialized course designated to teach the basics of coding and programing for 30 graduates, raising awareness through two events garnering a huge exposure of 420 individuals. Besides that, they pursued a teaching career at Samsung Innovation Campus where Marwan and Ali became facilitators in the program.

“The positive feedback of Samsung Innovation Campus graduates can hardly go unnoticed; we take pride in the positive endorsement which motivates us to pursue with our enlightening endeavors to provide more learning opportunities as a part of Samsung’s social responsibility,” said Ahmed Ali Gafaar, Head of Marketing at Samsung Electronics Egypt.

Samsung Innovation Campus is a lifetime experience not a mere learning course, where the interactions with experts of an International entity like Samsung gives the students the needed confidence as well as qualifications to be ready for the market and open to acquire more knowledge.
