From Berlin to Cortina: Three Solve for Tomorrow Germany Winners Head to Olympic Demo Days

Global Sep 09. 2025

What a night! We couldn’t be prouder: at the grand finale of Samsung Germany’s Solve for Tomorrow 2025, three outstanding teams took the win and entered the next phase of our program. Their mission? To further develop their tech-driven solutions for a better tomorrow – and present them at the Demo Days at the Deutsches Haus during the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2026 in Cortina d’Ampezzo. With over 150 submissions under the theme “Sport & Tech”, this year’s competition once again highlighted the power of youth-led innovation to drive social impact. The winning teams – SkillFIT, CYCLE YOU, habric GmbH – impressed a five-member jury with their creativity, clarity and commitment to inclusion, empowerment, as well as physical and mental health.

Celebrating Innovation at the IFA Kickoff
The pitch finale took place in Berlin on September 3, just ahead of IFA 2025, creating the perfect stage to honor ideas that merge technology and social purpose. Hosted by former professional athlete and sports journalist Lisa Ramuschkat, the evening brought together finalists, partners and media, startup community, athletes, key stakeholders and many more in a dynamic setting full of energy and inspiration.

The jury – including Michaela Röhrbein (German Olympic Sports Confederation), Tabea Kemme (Olympic gold medalist), Tobias Wittich (Business Angel), Diana Tran Nhat (TU Berlin Doctoral Fellow) and Michael Müller (SEG) – faced a tough decision. Each team showcased months of hard work, supported by Samsung mentors and innovation experts from ekipa. Our strategic partners, Team Deutschland and Team Deutschland Paralympics, who have been involved throughout the program as mentors, role models and sources of inspiration, ensured that the values of sport – fairness, resilience and team spirit – were deeply embedded in every step of the journey. Alongside their content support, they also helped amplify the program through continuous communication within their communities.

“The teams radiated energy and creativity. From the Idea Camp onward, their potential was clear. On stage, they truly delivered. Their performances were outstanding, making it a tough call for the jury. Being part of this journey is already a huge win for all five teams and gives them valuable momentum for their next steps toward founding,” said Peter Höhn, Senior Professional Corporate Citize

Demo Days in Cortina – Where Innovation Meets Olympia Spirit
The three winning teams now enter a six-month Impact Phase, a tailored support program designed to help them turn their ideas into real-world solutions. With expert guidance from Samsung mentors, innovation specialists from ekipa, and strategic partners, the teams will refine their concepts, build pilot projects and explore paths toward launching their ventures. Whether it’s finding the right collaborators, testing their concepts, or preparing for launch – this phase is all about impact.

In addition to €22,500 in targeted funding, exclusive tech gear from the Samsung Store and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition, the teams will experience a true highlight: a trip to Cortina d’Ampezzo in early 2026. There, they’ll present their progress at the Solve for Tomorrow Demo Days – set against the inspiring backdrop of the Olympic Winter Games.

This final stage isn’t just about showcasing innovation – it’s about celebrating the journey, the growth, and the impact these young changemakers are creating.
