SCHWALBACH, Germany – Samsung Electronics has announced that during Samsung Germany’s Solve for Tomorrow 2025 Idea Camp on July 14-15, five finalist teams were selected to advance to a final pitch event. The advancing teams came from a field of over 150 submissions that participated in this year’s competition under the theme “Sport & Tech” and created meaningful social impact by showcasing the power of youth-driven innovation.
Over the coming weeks, the finalists CYCLE YOU, Fitness on the Go, I make AI, Raumdeuter, and Habric GmbH will enter an intensive development phase. Supported by Samsung mentors and partners, they’ll explore how digital solutions can promote physical activity, mental health, inclusion, and community engagement.

During the two-day Idea Camp, 10 teams were invited to Samsung Germany’s LED Showroom in Schwalbach to further develop their ideas. With support from Samsung, Team Deutschland, and Team Deutschland Paralympics, participants deepened their knowledge in resilience, corporate communications, pitch deck development, and pitching. Special guests included Paralympic gold medalist Anna-Lena Forster and her mental coach Zsuzsanna Zimanyi, as well as Finn Hösch, a professional ski mountaineer. Both athletes provided the innovators with valuable insights into motivation, mental strength, and goal-setting. Hösch also contributed his athletic expertise as a member of the jury.

Five Finalists With Diverse Future-Ready Solutions
The five finalists who emerged from Idea Camp now enter a two-month development phase in which they’ll receive tailored support from Samsung mentors, industry experts, and professional coaches. The goal is to refine their strategies, uplevel their ideas, and prepare for the final pitch at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) 2025 in Berlin in September. These are the five teams:• CYCLE YOU: Fitness in Sync With Your Menstrual Cycle – an app that offers a personalized fitness program for women, tailored to the menstrual cycle. The app combines training science with hormonal insights to support well-being, motivation, and autonomy. The goal is the empowerment of women through cycle-based movement.
• Fitness on the Go: Work Out Anywhere, Using Everyday Spaces – a mobile fitness platform that enables workouts anywhere — whether in the park, on stairs, or at the bus stop. It adapts exercises to the user’s surroundings, encourages community challenges, and helps people stay active anytime, without the need for a gym.
• I Make AI: Fairer Physical Education Through AI – SkillFIT, an AI-powered platform, aims to make physical education in schools more motivating, personalized, and fair. It focuses on individual progress rather than grades or comparisons. Designed from the students’ perspective, SkillFIT helps teachers promote movement with an emphasis on self-development and motivation.
• Raumdeuter: AI-Driven Fan Engagement – a platform that brings sports fans and clubs closer together by allowing fans to continuously share ideas. AI analyzes the feedback and generates insights for campaigns, merchandise, and events. The result is emotional connections built through data-driven, interactive engagement.
• Habric GmbH: Ultrasonic guidance for visually impaired – blind Sonar, a textile-based headband designed to help visually impaired individuals move more safely, is currently under development. Ultrasonic sensors detect the surrounding environment and translate it into vibrations, and an accompanying app allows for personalized settings, supporting greater independence in everyday life.

Community Choice Award: Engaging the Samsung Community From the Start
For the first time, Samsung introduced the Community Choice Award, a special recognition separate from the designated prize money and individual mentoring that the five finalist teams are receiving. Unlike the jury-selected winners, this award was decided by the public on LinkedIn. All teams were encouraged to boost their visibility, rally support, and invite the community to vote for their idea via comments on Samsung Germany’s official post.During the Idea Camp, Samsung was pleased to announce the first winning team: I Make AI. In recognition of their ability to engage and inspire communities with their vision, each team member received a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra for smart support in everyday life and exercise.
Looking Ahead to a 2026 Highlight
In 2026, the top three teams selected at the IFA pitch finale will experience a unique opportunity: they’ll travel to Cortina d’Ampezzo during the Olympic Winter Games. In front of an international audience and in an inspiring, sports-driven environment, they’ll present their progress live at the Solve for Tomorrow Demo Days.Anna-Lena Forster, a Paralympic gold medalist and Finn Hösch, a professional ski mountaineer are taking pictures with Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Olympic Edition.
