Samsung's Daycare Center Initiative

Launched to support underprivileged communities, Samsung’s daycare project in Korea was a significant step in practicing its corporate philosophy of social responsibility. It enabled parents to seek employment and break poverty cycles, marking a meaningful beginning in addressing societal challenges.

A Guide to Samsung Guide Dog School

Samsung Guide Dog School pioneered Korea's first systematic guide dog training program in 1994, producing Labrador retriever "Bah Dah" as the nation's first trained guide dog. With ceaseless efforts of the school, which shared the beginning of Samsung CSR, over 70 guide dogs are now actively assisting individuals across the country.

Pioneering Social Contribution in 1995

In 1995, Samsung became the first Korean company to establish a dedicated organization for social contribution, embodying its management philosophy of societal responsibility. This initiative aimed to address social issues and support community development, setting a standard for corporate social responsibility in Korea.

Launch of Global CSR Programs

In 2009, Samsung introduced its first global CSR program, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, to empower youth and communities through innovation. This initiative marked Samsung's commitment to global responsibility and sustainable development.
