Inside ENVIOTECH, the Smart Streetlight Startup Born From a Student Idea

In 2022, Adrian asked why streetlights still worked the same way every night and entered Samsung Solve for Tomorrow with an idea to make existing lights smarter.

Instead of replacing entire lighting systems, ENVIOTECH adds intelligent technology to existing streetlights so cities can manage them according to actual demand.

Mentoring, coaching and feedback helped Adrian test the concept, gain early validation and continue developing it after the competition had ended.

Now backed by €1 million in pre-seed funding, ENVIOTECH is preparing to move from pilot projects into real deployments with cities and infrastructure operators.
